A project aimed at young people and their families in Cornwall that involves music and storytelling, generating
interest in the idea of making music and to fire people’s imagination and creativity.

Conducted entirely online, demonstrations of a range of musical instruments built using unusual found and recycled/upcycled objects will be followed by participants building their own instruments and devising a short story outlining the reasoning behind them.

Once the instrument are made, we’ll have a series of rehearsals to get to grips with a few tunes, culminating in an online performance in early December.

 

There will be some items, such as bridges, tuners, mouthpieces and reeds that you might need.  Whatever they are, just let us know and we should be able to send them to you.
